Health and Wellness Animal Hospital of Hampton Falls, New Hampshire would like to welcome a new Veterinarian, Dr. Christopher Hoppe.

Born in Dewitt, Michigan, Dr. Hoppe (also known as Dr. Chris) has been working in Flagstaff, Arizona for the past three years and moved to New Hampshire in April of 2008.

Dr. Hoppe attended Michigan State university and received a Bachelor's Degree in Zoology and Neurobiology in 1999. He went on to attend Michigan State University School of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2003. Before caring for pets in Arizona, Dr. Hoppe lived and worked in Portland, Maine and was a graduate student resident in veterinary pathology at Purdue University.

Dr. Hoppe's professional interests include acupuncture, traditional Chinese Medicine, herbal medicine, dermatology, and pathology/cytology. Dr. Hoppe has also received extensive training in traditional Chinese veterinary medicine and acupuncture.

When he is not working in the hospital, Dr. Hoppe can be found out on the ice playing hockey, at the beach with his wife--a pet lover and veterinary technician--hiking with his three dogs, or outside kayaking, mountain biking, and golfing.
